Greg Hill Establishes Fund for Curb Bulb Landscaping

By Lee Raaen, Boardmember-at-large"
In June, long time WCC Board member Greg Hill was awarded the University Sunrise Rotary Club’s 2006 Vocational Service Award for his outstanding and dedicated service to the community. The award recognized the hundreds of hours he donates each year to Wallingford and the greater Seattle community on land use and other issues. As part of the award, Greg was asked to designate a recipient of his choice for a $500.00 donation by the Rotary Club. Greg donated the funds to the WCC for the purpose of establishing a fund for landscaping and planting the curb bulbs being built along 45th Street. If you would like to donate to this fund,
send your check to the WCC at the neighborhood office, and note on your check that the donation is for curb bulb landscaping.
