SUMMARY:Backpack Brigade January 22\, 2027
DESCRIPTION:\nJoin our Rotary volunteer team to support the Backpack Brigad
 e (backpackbrigade.org)! We need 10 volunteers from 12pm - 2pm to roll up
their sleeves at their warehouse and help pack weekend meal bags so local
kids don't go hungry.\n\n\n\nWhat We’ll Be Doing: \n\n\n\nThis is an act
ive\, fast-paced volunteer session. Our team will be helping with a variet
 y of essential warehouse tasks\, including:\n\n\n\n\nPrepping food items\n
 \n\n\nPacking weekend meal bags\n\n\n\nOrganizing warehouse inventory\n\n\
n\nHandling recycling\n\n\n\nGeneral cleaning and tidying up the facility\
 n\n\n\n\nWe Need 10 to 25 Volunteers! \n\n\n\nWe need a minimum of 10 peop
le for this event\, but can accommodate a maximum of 25! It’s a great wa
y to get moving\, bond with fellow club members\, and directly impact loca
l families in need.\n\n\n\nA Note on Donations: \n\n\n\nTypically\, the Ba
ckpack Brigade requests a $500 donation from corporate volunteer groups to
help cover the costs of the food being packed. However\, this is not a re
quirement.\n\n\n\nWhile there is absolutely no obligation to pay to volunt
eer\, if you would like to make a personal contribution to further support
their mission\, individual donations are always welcome and deeply apprec
iated. You can donate directly through their website here: https://www.bac
 kpackbrigade.org/donate.\n\n\n\nLocation:\n\n\n\n1729 1st Ave SouthSeattl
