 roximately 4 times per year and are a way of helping the University Distri
 ct Food Bank which is experiencing an ever increasing demand while also fa
 cing a reduced budget due in part to a loss of previous support.&nbsp\; Ou
 r volunteers help shoppers find suggestions for items the Food Bank needs 
 most and then collects those items as shoppers leave.&nbsp\; Volunteer shi
 fts are approximately 2 hours and that time goes quickly.&nbsp\; Volunteer
 s are encouraged to bring family members and/or friends to help.\n
