She lives in Belltown and has lived in Washingt on for nearly thirty years after growing up in Oregon. She is a member of the University Sunrise Rotary Club.\n\n\n\nOut of heartache and frustrati on with local leaders\, she founded We Heart Seattle in 2021. We Heart sta rted out as a volunteer organization that removed trash from parks and pub lic spaces.\n\n\n\nShe quickly realized there was much more work to be don e because too many people had fallen through the cracks of existing social services. We Heart helps people in need find housing and treatment.
