DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nJoin the University Sunrise Rotary Club for a progr
 am featuring Jennifer Ott\, Executive Director of HistoryLink.\n\n\n\nThe&
 nbsp\;program will be presented in person and on Zoom on Thursday morning.
 &nbsp\; The formal meeting including the program runs from 7:30-8:30 a.m.&
 nbsp\;&nbsp\;No registration is required\, and the program is free.\n\n\n\
 n\nThe in-person meeting will be at the Wedgwood Community Church at 8201 
 30th Ave NE\, Seattle. Doors open at 7:00 a.m. and the program begins at 7

 l open shortly after 7:00 a.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJennifer Ott is 
 the executive director of HistoryLink and an environmental historian with 
 a particular interest in Seattle's history of moving dirt\, rerouting w
 aterways\, and leveling hills. She has written for Seattle magazine and
  the Oregon Historical Quarterly. She contributed to A Will to Serve: Sto
 ries of Patience\, Persistence\, and Friends Made Along the Way (2024)\, J
 im Ellis’ memoir\, and wrote Olmsted in Seattle: Creating A Park System 
 for a Modern City (2019). She was the general editor and a contributor to
  Seattle at 150: Stories of the City Through 150 Objects From the Seattle
  Municipal Archives (2019)\, and co-author of Waterway: The Story of Sea
 ttle’s Locks and Ship Canal (2017). Her new book\, Where the City Meets
  the Sound: The Story of Seattle’s Waterfront will be published this yea
