DESCRIPTION:\nJoin the&nbsp\;University Sunrise Rotary Club&nbsp\;for a pro
 gram featuring Lidet Gezahegne.\n\n\n\nThe&nbsp\;program will be presented
  in-person and on Zoom on Thursday morning informally beginning at 7 a.m. 
 The formal meeting including the program runs from 7:30-8:30 a.m. No regis
 tration is required\, and the program is free.\n\n\n\nThe in-person meetin
 g will be at the Wedgwood Community Church at 8201 30th Ave NE\, Seattle.\
 n\n\n\nThe meeting will also be available via Zoom.&nbsp\;You can click he

 organizing this program.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLidet Gezahegne is the Com
 munity Support Program Coordinator for IRC WA\, where she plays a pivotal 
 role in connecting local communities with refugee families. Originally fro
 m Ethiopia\, Lidet has spent most of her life in the Seattle area\, where 
 she has developed a deep commitment to supporting refugees. She earned her
  Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Washingto
 n and went on to complete a Master’s in Public Policy from George Mason 
 University. Since 2015\, Lidet has been dedicated to working with refugees
  locally and has been a valuable member of the IRC team since May 2023.\n\

 nProgram Description:\n\n\n\nThe Community Support Groups program connects
  refugee families with local community groups to successfully integrate in
 to their new communities. Volunteers assist with initial resettlement task
 s\, language practice\, in-kind donations\, and community integration thro
 ugh our Direct Support Groups. Donation Support Groups focus on organizing
  fundraising events\, building donor relationships\, and securing necessar
 y resources. Join us in making a significant impact by transforming the li
 ves of newly arrived refugees and building a stronger community together!\
 n\n\n\n\n
