DESCRIPTION:\nJoin the&nbsp\;University Sunrise Rotary Club&nbsp\;for a pro
 gram featuring Rich White of The Boeing Company.\n\n\n\nThe&nbsp\;program 
 will be presented on Zoom on Thursday morning with the Zoom line opening a
 t 7 a.m.&nbsp\; The formal meeting including the program runs from 7:30-8:
 30 a.m.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;No registration is required\, and the program is free

  7 a.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRich White\, Sr. Manager Government Operati
 ons will speak with the Club about the exciting work happening within Boei
 ng’s facilities\, along with an update regarding safety and quality in B
 oeing factories\, and progress with workforce development. In his presenta
 tion\, Rich will share an update about Boeing’s ongoing partnerships and
  community investments in the Puget Sound region.\n\n\n\nRich White is a S
 enior Government Relations manager for The Boeing Company.  In this positi
 on\, he is responsible for representing the company before elected and app
 ointed public officials and their staffs\, industry and business associati
 on executives and political community-based organizations in the Central P
 uget Sound region\, Oregon and Montana. He acts as the primary company foc
 al for negotiating and influencing government relations’ policy on exter
 nal issues and he provides political strategy and advice to company manage
 ment. White also develops and implements legislative and regulatory progra
 ms to ensure that the business interests of the company are reflected to t
 he best advantage.\n\n\n\nPrior to joining The Boeing Company\, White was 
 the director of government affairs for the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce\, 
 where he oversaw the development and implementation of the chamber’s pol
 icy positions. White also acted as the chamber’s lobbyist both regionall
 y and in Olympia\, WA.  White also has worked in Olympia for the state Sen
 ate Republican caucus and as the Washington field director for the Dole/Ke
 mp Presidential Campaign. He previously worked for former U.S. Sen. Slade 
 Gorton in both Washington D.C. and the state of Washington.\n\n\n\nWhite i
 s a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in po
 litical science and a master's degree in public administration from the Ev
 ans School of Public Affairs. He was a 2005 Marshall Memorial Fellow and i
 s a 2000 graduate of Leadership Tomorrow. He earned his Eagle Scout in 198
 6.\n\n\n\nWhite’s current activities and volunteer experiences include s
 erving on the Board of Directors for the Schack Art Center\, Everett Publi
 c Schools Foundation\, Tacoma Chamber of Commerce\, Oregon Business &amp\;
  Industry and nearly a dozen other groups\, chambers and agencies.\n\n\n\n
