FRIENDS AND FUN:

I joined Rotary because my friend, Dave, invited me. Ever since I’ve experienced a wealth of opportunities for service, friendship and engagement that I would never have had, if I had not joined this club.”  -Mike Madden, member since 2011.

“The Rotary Foundation has helped us fund meaningful projects here and abroad with the support of a billion-dollar international organization.” -Pam Mushen, member since 2015.

“It’s fun!  Where else can I wear a hot dog hat and a Santa Claus suit??” -Steve Barton, member since 2003.

“When I was a kid, I knew children that were crippled from polio.  Rotary has nearly wiped that out—globally.” -Ryan Hamilton, member since 1995.

“Our Rotary Club offers so many ways to make a difference in the world—from contributing to one of the most important Foundations in the world to helping at foodbanks. It’s important to me to make a real difference in people’s lives!” -Merrill Mayer, member since 2008.

PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING:

“I joined because people that I looked up to urged me to network more.  I stayed because the Club became a second family to me—and we are changing the world.”  -Tom Ranken, member since 1988.

Rotary is not a political organization, but our weekly speakers have included a wide range of our government representatives.   In the past couple of years we’ve hosted the Governor, Mayor, Police Chief, Attorney General, King County Executive, US Representative, and almost every City Council member.

“Since I joined my Rotary club, I’ve been able to engage with leaders on the local, state and even national level.”
