- About the Club: We have 41 members and meet weekly. Rotary is an international service organization originally comprised of business people, but is now far more diverse. The meetings are structured, but pretty informal as most of the club members know each other reasonably well. You can learn about our club here and our programs here.
- We meet in person at the Wedgwood Community Church (8201 30th Ave NE, Seattle) on the first and third Thursday mornings of the month (also accessible via Zoom) and via Zoom only on the second and fourth Thursdays.
- We open our Zoom line at 700 a.m. and our meeting starts at 730 a.m. We have announcements and business for a few minutes, then the speaker is introduced. The speaker has the remainder of the time (about 45 minutes). Normally, programs take 20-30 minutes for the talk followed by discussion. The Club President will moderate the Q&A out of the chat. We normally close the meeting at 830 a.m.
- Please make sure that we have the following:
- A title and short description for your talk
- A short bio
- A picture that we can post
- We will post these items on our website–so others can see them, as well. (We also don’t delete them.)
- We have a Foundation that makes grants, but that is normally a separate process.
