Join our Rotary volunteer team to support the Backpack Brigade (backpackbrigade.org)! We need 10 volunteers from 12pm – 2pm to roll up their sleeves at their warehouse and help pack weekend meal bags so local kids don’t go hungry.
What We’ll Be Doing:
This is an active, fast-paced volunteer session. Our team will be helping with a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including:
- Prepping food items
- Packing weekend meal bags
- Organizing warehouse inventory
- Handling recycling
- General cleaning and tidying up the facility
We Need 10 to 25 Volunteers!
We need a minimum of 10 people for this event, but can accommodate a maximum of 25! It’s a great way to get moving, bond with fellow club members, and directly impact local families in need.
A Note on Donations:
Typically, the Backpack Brigade requests a $500 donation from corporate volunteer groups to help cover the costs of the food being packed. However, this is not a requirement.
While there is absolutely no obligation to pay to volunteer, if you would like to make a personal contribution to further support their mission, individual donations are always welcome and deeply appreciated.
