Our Food Drives occur approximately 4 times per year and are a way of helping the University District Food Bank which is experiencing an ever increasing demand while also facing a reduced budget due in part to a loss of previous support. Our volunteers help shoppers find suggestions for items the Food Bank needs most and then collects those items as shoppers leave. Volunteer shifts are approximately 2 hours and that time goes quickly. Volunteers are encouraged to bring family members and/or friends to help.
