Marc Manzo
Marc Manzo has served as a Major Gift Officer at the Museum of Flight for nine years, working closely with donors who support the Museum. He is particularly passionate about the Museum’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education programs, which provide immersive learning opportunities for young people. Marc is excited to see these programs in action, especially when he gets to see the dedication of the Museum’s docents and volunteers—like Dave Wellman—who engage young learners.
Dave Wellman
Dave Wellman is a 31-year experienced Docent at the Museum of Flight. His professional career started after graduating from Purdue University where he received a BSEE degree and an Air Force Reserve Commission After a short stint as an Engineer at Chrysler, he served as a pilot flying B-47’s and B-52’s, culminating in two combat tours in Vietnam. Dave then joined Boeing where his career consisted of primarily test and integration of air launched missiles.
At the Museum, he works with children’s education programs and is part of the Speaker’s Bureau giving talks to community groups and schools about the B-52 and it’s involvement in the Vietnam War.
