As part of our ongoing commitment to serving our community and fighting food insecurity, we have a volunteer event in partnership with Harvest Against Hunger!
We will be rolling up our sleeves and spending a fulfilling day volunteering out at Elk Run Farm. This is a wonderful opportunity for our club to get outside, connect with one another, and make a tangible impact on the local food system.
To make this project a success, we need your help! We will be assisting the farm with essential hands-on tasks, including:
- Planting new crops for the season
- Weeding to ensure a healthy and abundant yield
- Harvesting fresh produce that will be distributed to our neighbors in need
Whether you are an experienced gardener or just have a willingness to help, your contribution will be incredibly valuable.
