Join the University Sunrise Rotary Club for a program featuring Laura Hartner of the Skagit Land Trust.
The program will be presented on Zoom on Thursday morning with the Zoom line opening at 7 a.m. The formal meeting including the program runs from 7:30-8:30 a.m. No registration is required, and the program is free.

The Skagit Land Trust conserves wildlife habitat, agricultural and forest lands, scenic open spaces, wetlands, and shorelines for the benefit of our community and as a legacy for future generations. Skagit Land Trust has conserved 11,943 acres across Skagit County including 568 acres of intertidal habitat, 6,992 acres of forest, 1,176 acres of wetlands, 993 acres of farmland, 44 miles of freshwater shoreline, and 8.4 miles of saltwater shoreline. Laura Hartner is the Development & Outreach Director for Skagit Land Trust. She oversees fundraising, communications, and community engagement for Skagit Land Trust. Prior to joining the world of land conservation, Laura served as the Events & Communications Director at the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce where she planned serval annual largescale festivals. Her work with Skagit Land Trust combines her love of the outdoors with her experience in community outreach, event planning, journalism, and non-profit fundraising. Laura’s previous work includes King 5 News and Northwest Public Radio.
